Will an Increase in traffic guarantee more sales from my website?

Increase in traffic to your website doesn't necessarily guarantee more sales. You have to make sure your site is geared up towards the market in which you are targeting by implementing a user friendly and esthetically pleasing website that appeals to the right audience.

Is scrolling on website's bad?

People scroll. It doesn't matter if your website scrolls because that's what the scroll bars are there for. Trying to design a site around non scrolling will 9 times out of 10 result in a awkward looking website that is esthetically non-pleasing to the eye. This doesn't mean to say that a non-scrolling site is bad, it just means that most sites can't get away with not scrolling unless the content is very minimal and specific. The more flexible your the design the better it is for your visitors! Most successful website's have scrollbars!

Web development is typically used to described the programming required to construct the "back end" of a website. The back end is the area of the site that isn't seen by the  visitor, but which does the work required in order to present the information in the correct format to the visitor especially in the case of CMS and eCommerce websites.

Web development is used to describe any database-driven website using dynamic scripting languages like PHP the preferred method, ASP, ASP and Coldfusion. It also covers database design and development. The term can also be used for client-side scripting such as JavaScript and Java.

Pay per click (PPC) is an advertising service used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites/blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user clicks on a advert to visit that advertisers website. Advertisers bid on keywords and phrases they predict their target market will use as search terms. When a user types a keyword into a search engine matching the advertiser's keyword list, or views a page with relevant content, the advertiser's ad may be shown. These ads are called a "Sponsored link" or "sponsored ads" and appear next to or above the "natural" or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster/blogger chooses on a content page.

I've heard web design companies say "We can guarantee you a Google listing" as if they are they are doing you a favour. You don't need to submit your site to search engines, they do it for you when your site is live. So the answer is 'yes we can'.

What is PageRank™ (PR)?

PageRank is Google’s ranking software that calculates the relevance of a web page to the keywords entered in a search query. The software analyses both the number of incoming links and the ‘quality’ of the referring web page to generate a relative measurement between 0 (low-relevance) and 10 (high-relevance). (The ‘quality’ of the referring web page is an abstract measure of how authoritative it is on the subject matter.)

Will repeating a keyword loads of times help me get higher in search engines such as Google?

No. Repeating a keyword hundreds of time doesn't help your website do well in search engines, neither does it help the people trying to use your site website. It will have a negative effect and is also known as a very amateur form of spamming.
